The Abortion Pill | Medical Abortion

We provide info on medication abortions, first-trimester options, and free limited pregnancy services.

What is the abortion pill?

The abortion pill is actually two drugs and it’s taken in two separate doses. It is also called a medication or chemical abortion.

How does it work? When is it taken?

It is usually taken between 4-6 weeks, but it is FDA-approved up through 10 weeks after a woman's last menstrual period. The abortion pill is not an option for people with certain medical conditions, if the pregnancy is not viable, or if the pregnancy occurs outside of the uterus.

How we can help

Make an appointment for a free pregnancy confirmation and options consultation. While we do not refer for or provide the abortion pill, we can provide education on abortion and pregnancy options. To determine the pregnancy is not a dangerous ectopic pregnancy (outside of the uterus) or not viable, an ultrasound is necessary.  An appointment for a no-cost ultrasound may be scheduled through the link below.

Make an appointment to learn how far along you are, get answers about the options available to you, and answer any questions you may have about pregnancy, abortion, and the abortion pill.
